Tupak. Nature. Reality. . . . . A word of encouragement for dreamers!
---“Reality is wrong. Dreams are for real.”—Tupac Shakur

A word of encouragement for all of you dreamers out there …
People who tell you that your thoughts or dreams are not based in reality generally have no clue what reality is. They are almost always uninformed people who’ve not taken the time to explore what reality is before telling you that your dream is not in there. And even narrower, by “reality” they typically mean their reality. Big people with big minds don’t do this. Remember that.
If someone like a Carl Sagan or Brother Lawrence tells you your thoughts or dreams have no basis in reality, that’s one thing. But before considering anyone else‘s judgment of reality, I would first want an inkling as to whether they understood the implications of quantum entanglement for example or were exercising a sense of the continual presence of God. These are the kind of people with a sense of the true breadth of potential reality to judge whether your idea might be in there or not. Everyone else’s judgment should almost always be disregarded.
Your ability or inability to disregard the judgment of people with ignorant notions of reality will in many ways set your dreams up for failure or success.
Tupac Shakur was completely right when he said that “Reality is wrong. Dreams are for real.” All of us have this notion many many times in our life … after watching a Disney movie with our kids; while singing “Amazing Grace” and coming to the words “that saved a wretch like me” and sensing in our heart-of-hearts that this dream-like eventuality is in fact true; or on a walk in the woods on one of those spring days where the light is just magical and serendipity surprises us with tears. The people who successfully bring dreams to fruition are just those with the discipline to believe in these notions all the time.
Dreams are for real.
