Tuesday night I had the privilege of presenting EnviroAI’s vision for the future of environmental permitting at Rice University’s SSPEED Center—and it was an incredible evening.

A huge thank you to Jim Blackburn for hosting us. Jim has spent his career on the front lines of environmental law and nature-based engineering in Texas. His work through the SSPEED Center has changed how Houston thinks about resilience, flooding, and our relationship with natural systems. We’re deeply grateful for the platform and the conversation he made possible—and we hope this is just the beginning.

EnviroAI is building the path from automated permitting today to Dynamic Environmental Permitting and ultimately Environmental Superintelligence—real-time, continuous, AI-driven environmental management at planetary scale. None of this happens without our customers—some of the largest and most influential companies in the chemical, refining, and oil and gas sectors in the world. We don’t think of them as customers. They are co-developers. They’ve trusted us with their most complex environmental challenges, and together we’re building the systems that will define the next era of environmental protection.

To everyone who attended Tuesday night at Rice … thank you. The energy in that room confirmed what we already felt: the future of environmental protection will be built together.
