A new product to build … and new help to build it

I’m excited to announce that 5 students from St. Olaf College will be working with us on building “The Citizen” over the summer. These computer science and environmental science students will be coding and working with our development team both here and in India and Indonesia. Some of these students already have machine learning experience. It’s a privilege to provide these students with internship opportunities, especially with this Covid crisis making summer jobs and in-person internships so difficult. Ironically, without Covid, I don’t think we ever could have attracted this level of talent for a virtual internship. It’s going to be a ton of fun to see what we will be able to accomplish together on this exciting new product.
