TCEQ Loading Your Docs onto World-wide Web

The public, environmental groups, plaintiff’s attorneys, and others are beginning to gain access to files that previously required a TCEQ Open Records request or a physical trip to a TCEQ file room (see TCEQ File Room On-Line)
As these documents become more available and visible, the liabilities associated with these documents will increase. Stock prices can be affected. Multi-million dollar lawsuits can be initiated. Criminal risks can increase.
The AL Law Group has created a quick and affordable legal review mechanism called “ASLER” (Agency Submittal Legal Review Service) to help companies reduce liabilities and costs associated with agency submissions. The AL Law Group reviews wording, legal requirements, and other potential legal pitfalls based on years of knowledge, expertise, and experience reviewing similar submittals for companies across Texas.
Below are a few excerpts from Fortune 100 and other company agency submissions found on the web where ASLER could provide a quick and cost-effective review mechanism to help reduce the potential effect these statements might have during a courtroom cross-examination or in a Houston Chronicle article:
Company Statements
- Pipeline had a “catastrophic failure”
- “Excessive corrosion caused leaks in the vacuum lines.”
- Equipment was “very corroded”.
- “We found a severe carryover of some kind of sludge which plugged off the whole cylinder.”
- “Electricians tried to locate the problem because it kept acting differently all the time.”

Here is what one Fortune 100 Company said about AL Law Group’s review service:
