I’m creating a new chemical company for the front-end of the Independence Environmental Treatment Center.

What will make this chemical company unique and the first of its kind is the decision making. The company direction essentially won’t be guided by a human. It will be run by data/AI. Humans will essentially just follow where the data/AI points—interjecting human ethics and certain limited human overrides. Think of it almost like “Moneyball” but with chemicals. Instead of the more traditional chemical business of following custom, tradition, and human decision making about what chemicals to manufacture and how to manufacture them … this new business model just follows the data. No hunches. No personal agendas. No adherence to past decisions or processes. Just follow the data. Needless to say, with the data and the business always changing, it will make for a very dynamic and vibrant new chemical business model in this quickly changing world of ours.

1st Step

FYI - The first step in building the Data/AI System for Chemai will be to create an equivalent to “Shark-Tank” but with artificial intelligence. The AI system will take in the variables in and around the Deer Park/La Porte/Baytown area (ex. feedstock, customers, etc.), look for chemical entrepreneurial opportunities, and evaluate those opportunities.
