Aside: How does this narrow form of artificial intelligence work? ML NLP QA [machine-learning using natural language processing for question answering]

Question Answering (QA) aims to automatically answer natural language questions posed by a human. Single-turn QA takes a single question as input and provides its answer as output without considering any context. We are building a single-turn environmental QA engine based on heterogeneous databases, including Knowledge-based QA, Table/List-based QA, Text-based QA, Community-based QA, and Visual QA.

It's not an oracle. But you will be very, very, very surprised at how good its getting--and how helpful it already is.
